Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) and Fin5 orienteering week

 

Tampereen Pyrintö, in cooperation with the City of Tampere, International Orienteering Federation and Finnish Orienteering Federation is organizing Junior World Orienteering Championships 9 to 14 July 2028 in Tampere, Finland.

350 competitors from 40 different countries are expected to compete in JWOC. The competition classes are women 20 and men 20. All countries can participate with a team of  12 athletes, six in each class.

Fin5 Orienteering Week is organised as the spectator race for JWOC. It consists of five world class orienteering competitions in Finland’s best terrains. Open courses are also offered. It will be possible to attend Fin5 and watch JWOC 2028 races as the events are organized at different times of the day. More information about the Fin5 Orienteering Week here: https://2028.fin5.fi/.
